CLR to tour w Sevendust,Coal Chamber and Lacuna ...

Sevendust are teaming up with the reunited Coal Chamber for a 2013 U.S. tour. The two bands will be supported directly by Lacuna Coil, with Candlelight Red and Stolen Babies splitting opening duties.

Sevendust will be out in support of their upcoming album ‘Black Out the Sun,’ which features the new single ‘Decay.’ The band has added dates to a winter trek with Lacuna Coil that kicks off Feb. 2 in Winston Salem, N.C., and runs through March 27 in El Cajon, Calif. Candlelight Red will be along for that ride.

Now it’s been revealed that Coal Chamber will jump aboard the trek starting March 28 in Tempe, Ariz., to link up with Sevendust, Lacuna Coil and Candlelight Red in Tempe, Ariz., for a month longtour which wraps up on April 28 in Dallas, Texas. Stolen Babies will take over Candlelight Red’s slot on April 14 in Toronto, Canada.

NONPOINT UNVEIL 2013 TOUR DATES WITH CANDLELIGHT ...

Nonpoint recently wrapped up a U.S. tour with Taproot, but they’ve just announced a 2013 winter trek with support from Candlelight Red and Digital Summer.

Nonpoint are hitting their road in support of their self-titled seventh studio album. Their lead single off the record, ‘Left For You’ continues to heat up radio charts since its release earlier this year.

Candlelight Red are headed out to promote their ‘Demons’ EP, which was produced by Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose.

The tour kicks off on Jan 18 in Illinois and wraps up Feb. 17 in Georgia. Nonpoint also have a one off date with P.O.D. on March 13 in Augusta, Ga. Check out the full list of cities and dates below.

Sevendust Drummer Morgan Rose To Produce New Candlelight Red EP

When Candlelight Red recently toured with Sevendust, they automatically struck up a friendship with drummer Morgan Rose.
Realizing that they saw completely eye-to-eye musically, it made perfect sense for Rose to produce Candlelight Red – which will soon become a reality, as both factions will work together on an EP.

“While having Candlelight Red on tour with Sevendust, I was able to get familiar with their music and build a friendship with some of the band members,” explains Rose. “So when they approached me with a desire for me to produce them, I jumped at the opportunity. After talking about what our goals were for the recording, we were happy to realize our goals were one and the same. To capture the band’s live sound is the objective, and it’s gonna happen. I’m beyond excited to get these songs finished and out to their fans!”

And CR guitarist Jeremy Edge shares Rose’s excitement regarding the upcoming sessions (which will soon commence at Arkitekt Studios in Butler, New Jersey, with Mike Ferretti serving as engineer). “We are beyond pumped to have Morgan work with us! He is not only one of the world’s most phenomenal rock drummers, He is a guy that really gets what the sound and energy of our band is all about. We are going to have some of the most intense CR material our fans have heard yet!”

CANDLELIGHT RED SECURES SPOT ON 2012 ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK UPROAR FESTIVAL

It seems like Candlelight Red are refusing to take a rest from their breakneck 2012 schedule. In addition to recently issuing their debut full-length disc, The Wreckage (and single, “She’s Got the Look”), the band has secured a spot on the 2012 Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, which they will start a month after wrapping up tours with Lacuna Coil and Crossfade. The group will be rocking on one of two Festival Stages, which will also see sets from Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach, Adelitas Way, POD, and many more.
Live Nation is the national tour promoter for the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, and the tour will play more than 30 shows throughout North America during August and September. “We’re really excited about this year’s awesome lineup,” say tour producers John Oakes and John Reese. “It’s incredible to have so many of the biggest bands in rock together with some newer bands that are blowing up. By adding a second stage to the festival area and including even more great talent, we’re stepping things up a notch for the UPROAR fans.”

Candlelight Red continues their march towards the big time by releasing their latest single, “She’s Got the Look,” and also by securing a string of live dates with Trapt. And the word is spreading fast about the band, as evidenced by the fine folks at welovemetal.com, which raved “CANDLELIGHT RED might be the one great hope: a band that can play to the rock fans and head bang the metal fans.”

Hailing from central PA, the band (which includes vocalist Ryan Hoke, guitarist Jeremy Edge, bassist Jamie Morral, and drummer Brian Dugan) recently released its first full length CD, ‘The Wreckage,’ issued via Imagen Records and overseen by Grammy-nominated producer David Ivory.

Right out of the gate, CLR has been turning heads, as the group’s lead-off single from ‘The Wreckage,’ titled “Closer,” reached #42 Mediabase Active Rock with wide nationwide radio support including strong spins at Octane for over six months. And earlier, CLR beat out over 10,000 other bands to win the 2010 national Guitar Center “Onstage” contest, which landed them an opening slot for KISS. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS specifically chose the band from among 22 regional contest winners. As a result, CLR had the honor of opening a show for KISS in Pittsburgh in late 2010.

Candlelight Red welcomes newest member to the team, drummer Brian Dugan!!

Brian Dugan will be replacing founding member Josh Hetrick on the road starting in the early spring.”The band is extremely excited to have Brian, both with his drumming skills, amazing attitude and work ethic as well ! We think fans of Candlelight Red are going to be proud to see him carry the torch forward for the band.

Josh informed the band in November that national touring may not be right for him at this time in his life. Josh is a very talented drummer, asset to the band and a good friend and we are very saddened to see him go, but we respect his decisions and his wishes and want to wish him all the very best in the future.

CANDLELIGHT RED CONFIRMED FOR A STRING OF DATES WITH SEVENDUST AS DEBUT SINGLE “CLOSER” CONTINUES TO CLIMB RADIO CHARTS

With Candlelight Red’s debut recording for the Imagen label, ‘The Wreckage,’ recently released digitally (September 27th), it has just been confirmed that the group will be supporting metal veterans Sevendust on a string of dates from November 22nd through December 10th. Additionally, Candlelight Red will be headlining their own show on October 29th, before playing a one-off show with Puddle of Mudd on November 16th and as part of 2 Broke To Rock with Texas Hippie Coalition on November 19th.

“I would call Candlelight Red’s music heavy, melodic and emotion-driven rock,” guitarist Jeremy Edge recently told the America Online Noisecreep website.
“There are a lot of big hooks, but we’re always aggressive.” Joining Edge in the band is vocalist Ryan Hoke, bassist Jamie Morral, and drummer Josh Hetrick.

The Williamsport, PA-based group has had plenty of road experience this year promoting ‘The Wreckage,’ sharing the concert stage with established and well-known hard rock acts, as Candlelight Red has opened for KISS,
10 Years, Saving Abel, Egypt Central, and Rev Theory.

The quartet has had the good fortune to work with Grammy-nominated producer David Ivory (whose credits include Halestorm and the Roots, among others) on ‘The Wreckage,’ which has resulted in the album’s debut single, “Closer,” flirting with the top 40 active rock radio. Candlelight Red continue to land prime opening slots with renowned rock acts, as it has been announced that the group (vocalist Ryan Hoke, guitarist Jeremy Edge, bassist Jamie Morral, and drummer Josh Hetrick) will be opening this summer for Saving Abel on a nationwide US tour.
The tour kicks off on Saturday, July 9th in Williamsport, PA (the band’s hometown) with a headlining performance, and will wrap up on Wednesday, August 30th in Erie, PA. Additional dates should be announced soon for September, as well.
